Optional vehicle protection
Foreign Plate Kasko provides optional protection for covered loss or damage involving the insured vehicle while it is used in Turkey. Premiums, coverage, limits, deductibles and exclusions are confirmed only after quotation and underwriting.
Know the difference
Required liability cover
Primarily covers legal liability for covered damage caused to third parties. It does not provide the same own-vehicle protection as Kasko.
Optional own-vehicle protection
Protects the insured vehicle against covered loss or damage, subject to the quotation and issued policy. It never replaces compulsory insurance.
Vehicle eligibility
Eligible private-use vehicles can normally proceed through the agency quotation process.
The insurer must authorise the vehicle after reviewing its age, condition and underwriting information.
Vehicles more than ten years old are outside the currently confirmed eligibility criteria.
All applications require private-use confirmation, inspection and insurer acceptance.

The vehicle must receive a condition and suitability report from an inspection provider contracted or accepted by the insurer.
Registration country, plate, make, model, model year, private-use status and requested period.
Provide the required condition and suitability report and any requested photographs or documents.

Acceptance and the final policy remain subject to insurer assessment.

Available policy periods are confirmed with the quotation and remain subject to acceptance.
The confirmed coverage territory is limited to the Republic of Turkey.
Service-centre and repair arrangements are stated in the quotation and issued policy.
Availability, limits and exclusions follow the issued policy; no individual benefit should be assumed in advance.
Commercial-use vehicles are outside the currently confirmed product eligibility.

No. Foreign Plate Kasko is optional comprehensive insurance. It does not replace compulsory traffic insurance valid in Turkey.
The confirmed product is for eligible privately used foreign-plated vehicles. Every request remains subject to inspection and insurer assessment.
Vehicles up to seven years old normally use the standard quotation route. Vehicles aged 8–10 require insurer authorisation. Vehicles over ten years old are not eligible.
Subject to quotation and acceptance, a policy may be issued for a period from one month to one year.
Yes. A condition and suitability report must be obtained from an inspection provider contracted or accepted by the insurer.
No. The confirmed coverage territory is limited to the Republic of Turkey.
